General information, not advice
Bright Tape publishes the same analysis and forecasts to every member. It does not consider your financial situation, experience, objectives or risk tolerance, and it does not tell you to buy, sell or hold anything. Nothing in the service is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell any asset.
Forecasts can be wrong
Forecasts are estimates produced by statistical models from past market data. Markets can move in ways no model anticipates. A forecast can miss by a wide margin, and a projected price path is one possible scenario, not an expected outcome.
We measure forecast error against actual closing prices, but past accuracy does not predict future accuracy, and we do not claim that using the service improves trading results.
Bitcoin is volatile
The price of Bitcoin can rise or fall sharply within minutes. You can lose some or all of the money you trade or invest. Leverage, margin and derivatives increase losses as well as gains and can lead to losses larger than your deposit. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
Data and timing
Forecasts depend on third-party market data. That data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and prices differ between exchanges, so the price you can trade at may differ from the price shown. Outages on our side or at a data provider can make forecasts late or unavailable.
No execution, no custody
We never place trades, access your exchange or broker accounts, or hold money or crypto-assets for you. You are responsible for your own accounts, orders and security.
Regulation and taxes
Bright Tape is not licensed or supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA or any other financial regulator, and the service is not a regulated financial or crypto-asset service. Rules on trading crypto-assets, and their tax treatment, differ between countries. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you and for your own taxes.
Get independent advice
If you are unsure whether trading is right for you, speak to an independent, qualified financial adviser before you decide.
